It’s been said that you know who your real friends are by how they react to dramatic changes in your life. Well, this week has been a great example of that!
I’m in between jobs right now (all is well and we were prepared for this thanks to FPU) and the amount of support that has poured in has been wonderful! Former coworkers who are still friends have reached out to say they miss me. People from the group formerly know as the START Experiment have helped me with resume crafting, cover letter drafting and LinkedIn rebuilding.
My friends have also sent me numerous job openings and ideas to help me pursue my dreams. They even encouraged me to apply for a scholarship o attend Bob Goff‘s Love Does Conference in Austin, Texas.
Well, guess what. I won!! My friends already attending offered to pick me up on their way down from Oklahoma and we are staying with more friends right outside of Austin.
We’re actually en route right now and can’t wait to be united with the rest of the group!
It’s going to be amazing and I can’t wait to tell you all about it! Thanks again for all the support (you know who you are!) and encouragement to continue pursuing my dreams! :) I couldn’t do it without you. <3
